**CORONA VIRUS UPDATE**

Due to the current RIVM guidelines, we will be rescheduling our audition for mid-late April.  Please keep checking this site for more information in the coming weeks.

 

Welcome to the Project Blank audition page!  Our 2020 open audition will take place on Sunday, March 29th at 14:30.  The location is Domplein 4, Utrecht, in dance studio 0.19.

Project Blank is a collaboration of dancers of all styles and other creatives, who come together to build and perform a feature length show.  We are a blend of experienced amateurs and semi-professionals.  As of now, this project is free for dancers.  If you would like to audition to be a part of our collaborative, please fill out this registration form.  When you arrive on the 29th, please be sure to have prepared a short solo of 30-60 seconds in the style of your choice.  Bring your music already downloaded on your device as internet is spotty inside the building.  Following the solo portion of the audition, we will learn a combination together as a group.

Here is a tentative schedule for the season:

April 5, 12, 19, 26: Creative meetings
Aims: Setting thematic framework for the show, casting, choreography assignments, music selection, discussion of props, set, and costumes
May-July: Time for independent creative processes
August – November: Intensive rehearsal period
Rehearsal schedule: Every Sunday (Saturday may also be an option) – 4 hours, mandatory for the entire cast; Flexible weeknight rehearsals, organized by choreographers.
November 7th and 8th
