Besides our talented dancers, we are fortunate enough to collaborate with local business and organizations, all of which are vital to our success.
The Gemeente Utrecht
This year, for the first time in Project Blank history, we have received production funding from the municipality. This relieved some of our financial burden and allowed us the creative freedom to take on new and exciting projects. The committee was interested in our signature blend of dance styles, our focus on collaboration, and our drive to create a dance production of high artistic value. We are grateful that they find our project a unique, interesting, and needed addition to the Utrecht artistic community. As a result of their generosity, we are able to bring this year’s production to a higher level and involve more professional artists and collaborators. We are really looking forward to continuing to expand our community with their support.

Rick van Woudenberg
Rick is a talented dance photographer, who has been working with us since 2018. His first production with Project Blank was, “What I Meant to Say,” where he did a brilliant job of capturing the highlights of our show and the essence of the dancers. We feel very fortunate to be able to work with him again this year. You can see Rick’s work in most of our blog posts and on our social media channels.

Michelle Broecks
Michelle is a costume and lighting designer, who is joining the Project Blank family for the first time in 2019. Costumes and lighting are an integral part of the experience of watching a dance production and we feel so fortunate to have a professional eye overseeing this process for us. Michelle advises us in costume and lighting choices and creates special pieces that fit our show. Michelle’s talents have brought growth to our project and we are thrilled to have her on board.

Robbert van Weelderen
Robbert is a videographer, who has been working with us since the first year of the project in 2016. Dance is about creating shapes, movement, and connections and knowing how to capture that takes a unique set of skills. A fun fact about Robbert is that he is also a dancer and has been a part of our productions in the past! You can find his work on our website and social media channels.

2 Happy Gays
Sometimes, we are lucky enough to have a dancer join our team, who has a unique talent. Matt Adams just so happens to co-own a screen printing company called 2 Happy Gays! They have been kind enough to lend us their talents by making logo T-shirts for our project. We wear them proudly!
